مرکز و کتابخانه مطالعات اسلامی به زبان های اروپایی | «کارگاه عثمانی‌شناسان غرب آمریکا» (آنلاین / ۱۸-۱۹ نوامبر ۲۰۲۲)

«کارگاه عثمانی‌شناسان غرب آمریکا» (Western Ottomanists’ Workshop) در سال ۲۰۱۰ تاسیس شد و تلاش کرده است فضایی برای گردهمایی دانشمندان و محققانی باشد که مستقر در مناطق غربی ایالات متحده آمریکا هستند و درباره امپراطوری عثمانی و تعاملات آن با گستره جهانی از اواخر قرن ۱۳ تا اولین دهه‌های قرن ۲۰ فعالیت می‌کنند.

محل برگزاری نشست سالانه این مجمع در سال ۲۰۲۲ دانشگاه UCLA در شهر لس‌آنجلس و زمان برگزاری آن در روزهای ۱۸ و ۱۹ نوامبر خواهد بود و سخنرانانی از ۱۸ دانشگاه در آمریکا، کانادا، و ژاپن در آن تحقیقات خود را ارائه خواهند داد.
